Aged care marketing that families can act on

Aged care marketing for Australian providers: clear answers for the families choosing care, and respect for the older people receiving it.

Partnership plans from $4,500 + GST a month

Aged care

Aged care marketing for the people making the decision

Rock Solid Marketing plans and runs marketing for aged care providers across Australia, from our office in Mildura. Most of the choosing is done by adult children, often within days of a parent's hospital stay. They search on a phone at night, compare homes on My Aged Care, then ring two or three providers.

Your marketing has to answer their questions fast: is there a place, what does it cost, can we visit, who will look after Mum. It also has to speak with respect to the older people themselves, who read the local paper and want to be asked, not told.

Partnership plans start from $4,500 + GST a month, and every plan starts with a free 30-minute discovery call.

Common problems

What gets in the way, and how we fix it

  1. Families ring us confused about fees and what's included.

    What we do

We write plain-English pages and brochures on costs, care types and next steps, checked by your team, so the first call starts further along.

  2. A change of owner or manager has unsettled our community.

    What we do

We plan messages that lead with continuity, so staff, residents and the public hear the same thing. We did this for Southern Cross Care in Broken Hill.

  3. Our website looks nothing like the care we actually give.

    What we do

We build a site around real photos and stories, with consent, and an enquiry path a stressed family can finish on a phone.

  4. We rely on word of mouth and the hospital discharge team.

    What we do

Nursing home marketing can't rely on referrals alone. We add search, social media and local press, so families who don't know you yet can find you before they need to decide.

What's in the plan

Aged care marketing services, joined up

Strategy, website, social, PR and design from one team, so families meet the same warm, clear message everywhere.

A marketing plan for each service

Residential care, home care and respite have different buyers. Your aged care marketing strategy gives each one its own message, channel and timing.

Websites families can use

Clear care types, fees explained, tour bookings and large, readable text. We build sites to WCAG 2.2 AA so older visitors can use them too.

Aged care social media

Residents' birthdays, lifestyle activities and staff profiles, shared with consent. Families follow along, and future families see what daily life looks like.

Print that still matters

Brochures, fee guides and newsletters for older readers and the GPs and discharge planners who hand them out.

Local news and launches

New wings, programs and milestones are pitched to local media, so the community hears it from you first.

Enquiries you can trace

A HubSpot dashboard shows which channel each enquiry came from, so you know whether the website, the paper or Facebook brought the family to you.

Our aged care work

Digital marketing for aged care providers, with the rules in mind

We designed the website and run the marketing partnership for Princes Court, a community-owned aged care provider in Mildura. That includes social media, storytelling and community campaigns across its three services. We've also worked on brand, website and social media for Sunraysia Residential Services, and on the strategy and an award submission for Care Villas Australia.

The rules shape every word. We make no promises about places, funding or Star Ratings, quality claims come only from you, and every resident story is shared with consent.

Our partnership plans start from $4,500 + GST a month for 28 hours of strategy, content, social media, search and reporting. Standard is $5,500 + GST a month and Advanced is $7,500 + GST a month. Ad spend is paid to the platforms on top. If a website refresh or a brochure is all you need, we'll tell you before we quote.

Market to older people through the channels they trust: the local paper, Facebook, community events and their GP's waiting room. Give them a phone number that a person answers. Use clear, large type and plain words. Many older Australians are online, but they still value a printed brochure they can keep on the bench.

Speak to seniors as capable adults making their own choices. Show real people their age doing things they enjoy, not stock photos of frailty. Lead with independence, company and good food rather than care needs. Then give the details they ask for: costs, contracts and who to call.

Write for two readers at once: the elderly person, and the adult child who is doing the research. The parent wants respect and reassurance. The family wants facts fast: availability, fees, care levels and visiting. Pages and brochures that answer both stop the family having to translate for their parent.

Each older generation uses media differently, so mix the channels rather than picking one. People in their 60s often research online and on social media. People in their 80s lean more on print, radio, word of mouth and their children. A good plan reaches the parent and the adult child in the places each one actually looks.

Marketing for nursing homes and home care starts with what families need to decide: care types, fees, availability and visiting. Make all of it easy to find on a phone. Keep your My Aged Care listing accurate, share real stories with consent, and stay visible in local media. Then measure which channel brings enquiries, so next year's budget goes further.

No. Admissions depend on your care, your places and your community, and Star Ratings are set by the Australian Government. We don't make promises about places, funding or ratings in your marketing either. What we can do is make it easier for the right families to find you, understand you and get in touch.

A good aged care ad agency knows the rules, writes with warmth and shows you work for other providers. Ask how it handles resident consent, quality claims and complaints on social media. We have aged care clients in Mildura and Broken Hill, and our partnership plans have no lock-in contracts.
