Aged care website design that works like a first tour

Aged care website design services for Australian providers: show each home honestly, explain fees plainly and make booking a tour easy.

Part of Marketing for Aged Care Providers

Aged care websites

Aged care website design services built for families

Rock Solid Marketing provides aged care website design services for residential, home care and respite providers across Australia. It's part of our aged care marketing.

Your website is the first tour most families take. They look at the rooms, read about care, try to work out the fees and decide whether to visit. Often they do it on a phone, late at night, for a parent in another town. A site that hides fees in a PDF or makes tour booking hard sends them to the next provider.

Website packages start from $5,000 + GST. The first step is a free 30-minute discovery call.

Common problems

What gets in the way, and how we fix it

  1. Families can't work out our fees from the website.

    What we do

We explain fees and accommodation payment options in plain words, with links to My Aged Care for the official detail, checked by your team.

  2. Our photos don't show what living here is really like.

    What we do

We plan a photo shoot of real rooms, gardens, meals and activities, with residents photographed only with their consent.

What we build

Aged care website design, page by page

Every page answers a family's question and offers a next step.

A page per home and care type

Residential, respite, dementia care and home care each get a clear page, and each home gets its own page with address, photos and how to visit.

Fees explained plainly

Plain-English explanations of fees and accommodation payment options, written from your fee schedule and linked to My Aged Care for official detail.

Tours booked online

A tour booking or enquiry form on every page, sending families to the right person, with a phone number for those who'd rather call.

Accessible for older visitors

Built to WCAG 2.2 AA with large readable type, strong contrast and simple menus, because residents and older family members read your site too.

Easy updates for your team

Vacancy notes, activities, news and staff profiles your team can update in minutes, so the site stays current between visits.

Consistent with My Aged Care

Names, addresses, services and contact details that match your My Aged Care listing and Google profiles, so families aren't confused.

Our aged care websites

Aged care website design from a team that's done it

We designed the website for Princes Court, a community-owned aged care provider in Mildura with three services, and run its marketing partnership. We also worked on the website for Southern Cross Care in Broken Hill during its relaunch, when families needed clear information fast. Our aged care website design services start from those lessons.

The same rules apply online as in print. No promises about places, funding or Star Ratings, quality claims only as you supply them, and resident photos and stories only with consent. Your team signs off before launch.

  • A page for every home and care type
  • Fees explained from your schedule
  • Tour booking on every page
  • Built to WCAG 2.2 AA
  • No promises on places or ratings

Website packages start from $5,000 + GST, or 6 monthly payments of $833 + GST. As an estimate, a single-home site with tour booking fits Standard (from $6,500 + GST) plus a few hours for forms, so about $7,000 to $8,000 + GST. Providers with several homes fit Advanced, from $12,000 + GST. If a refresh will do, we'll tell you before we quote.

An aged care website should include a page for each care type and each home, with real photos. Add fees and payment options explained plainly, tour booking, and contact details that match your My Aged Care listing. Staff profiles and activity news help families picture daily life.

Yes, families look for them first. Explain your fees and accommodation payment options in plain words, using your current fee schedule, and link to My Aged Care for the official rules. Clear fee information means families arrive at tours better prepared. Update it whenever your fees change.

Build it to WCAG 2.2 AA: large readable text, strong contrast, simple menus, descriptive links and forms that work with screen readers. Avoid text inside images and auto-playing video. Then test it with an older reader, because they'll find problems a checklist misses. Accessibility also helps families reading on small phones.

Yes, with their consent, or their representative's where needed. Explain where the photo will appear and keep a record. Many providers mix resident photos with images of rooms, gardens and staff. We plan photo shoots so consent is sorted before anyone is photographed. Photos can be removed later if someone changes their mind.

It depends on the number of homes and pages, and on how quickly content and photos are ready. Most of the time goes into gathering fee information, photos and approvals. We agree a timeline after the discovery call, once we know your page count and who signs off.

Your team can update news, activities, vacancy notes and staff profiles without a developer. If you'd rather we did it, care plans start from $275 + GST a month, minimum 6 months. Hosting is included for the first 12 months. Your team gets the logins and a short handover.

Look for a team that has built aged care sites, understands families' questions and the rules on claims, and builds for accessibility. Ask to see examples. Searches for the 'best aged care website design Australia' turn up many options; choose the one that shows its work and its approach to consent.
