Hospitality marketing for venues people come back to

Hospitality marketing for clubs, pubs, cafes and venues across Australia that need full tables midweek, not just on Saturday night.

Partnership plans from $4,500 + GST a month

Hospitality

Hospitality marketing that fills the quiet nights

Rock Solid Marketing plans and runs hospitality marketing for clubs, pubs, cafes and function venues across Australia, from our office in Mildura. That means the posts, ads, emails and listings that bring locals in on a Tuesday, not only the crowd that turns up for Saturday's band.

Your busy nights look after themselves. The trouble is the sessions in between, when the kitchen is staffed and half the room is empty. We plan your marketing around the specials board, the members' calendar and the events you already run, so every week gives people a reason to come in.

Our marketing partnership plans start from $4,500 + GST a month, and every venue starts with a free 30-minute discovery call. If a tidy Google listing and a weekly post will fill the gaps, we'll tell you before we quote.

Common problems

What gets in the way, and how we fix it

  1. Saturday is packed, but from Tuesday to Thursday half the room sits empty.

    What we do

We give each quiet night its own reason to come in (a members' meal deal, trivia, a set menu) and promote it to locals in the days before.

  2. The specials board changes every week, but Google and your website still show last season's menu.

    What we do

We keep your Google Business Profile, website and social pages in step with the board, so what people read online is what they find at the counter.

  3. Members and regulars only hear about events if they walk past the poster.

    What we do

We build an email and SMS list from your members and regulars, then send the week's events to people who opted in, as the Spam Act 2003 requires.

  4. Posts go out when someone on the floor has a spare minute, so weeks pass with nothing.

    What we do

We plan a month of posts from your events calendar. You approve them, and we schedule them.

  5. You run drinks promotions and aren't sure what an ad is allowed to say.

    What we do

We write drinks and venue promotions to the ABAC Responsible Alcohol Marketing Code and show them only to adults 18 and over.

What we do for venues

Hospitality advertising, content and email, planned together

Marketing hospitality businesses well means every channel tells locals the same thing in the same week: what's on, what it costs and how to book.

Content from your own room

Hospitality content marketing works when it shows your food, your staff and your regulars. We plan photo and reel shoots around service and write the posts in your voice, so they still sound like your venue.

Email and SMS to regulars

Hospitality email marketing goes to members and regulars who opted in: the week's specials, a birthday offer, the next big game. Every message names your venue and carries an unsubscribe, as the Spam Act 2003 requires.

Found when locals search

Your Google Business Profile is often the first thing people see. We keep your hours, menu, photos and events current, and answer reviews in your voice. Set-up on its own is $500 + GST.

Hospitality ads aimed at locals

Hospitality ads on Facebook, Instagram and Google reach people within driving distance, in the days before each event. Social ads management starts from $2,000 + GST a month plus 10% of ad spend.

An events calendar that sells

Footy finals, school holidays, Mother's Day, Christmas functions and New Year's Eve. We plan each one well ahead, so the posters, posts, emails and ads are ready before bookings open.

One look across every venue

Menus, posters, screens and social tiles from one designer, in the same colours and type. Groups with several venues get one brand system that each site can use.

Reports you can read

Each month you see what every promotion did: reach, clicks, bookings and email sign-ups, side by side with what it cost. Your account manager walks you through it at the monthly meeting.

Who it’s for

Is it the right fit?

Who it’s for

  • Clubs with members, a bistro and entertainment to promote
  • Pubs with a bar, a kitchen and a gig guide
  • Cafes and restaurants that need more weekday trade
  • Function and event venues filling their calendar
  • Groups running several venues under one brand

Not a fit

  • A venue that needs a name and logo before it opens: our New Business Package is $4,995 + GST
  • Venues that want a promised number of covers or members
  • Venues that only need social posts: social media plans start from $1,500 + GST a month

How it starts

A plan built around your trading week

We start with your week, not your social media account. We look at which sessions are full and which are quiet, what each one costs to staff, and what's already on the calendar. Then we look at how your regulars find you now: walk-ins, members, Google or social.

From that we pick one or two quiet sessions to work on first and build a promotion for each. You approve the offers, the menu items and the dates before anything goes out. When those sessions pick up, we move the hours to the next gap.

  • Which sessions are full and which are quiet
  • What each quiet session costs to open
  • How your regulars find you now
  • Events and dates already on the calendar
  • Offers and menu items you approve

Fix the quiet nights first.

How To Use Social Media To Build Trust & Drive Sales For Your Business

In 2025, social media remains one of the most powerful tools small business owners can use to build their brand, connect with customers, and drive sales. But let’s be honest: between running your business, managing day-to-day tasks, and keeping customers happy, finding the time and energy to stay consistent on social media can feel overwhelming.

A full plan starts from $4,500 + GST a month for 28 hours of work. Standard is $5,500 + GST for 35 hours, and Advanced is $7,500 + GST for 45 hours. Ad spend goes to Meta and Google on top. Social media plans on their own start from $1,500 + GST a month. Social ads management starts from $2,000 + GST a month plus 10% of ad spend.

It's every business that looks after guests: restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs, bars, caterers, hotels, motels and function venues. What they share is a product people come back for, so the marketing leans on regulars, reviews and word of mouth more than one-off sales. That's also why a quiet night costs a venue more than a slow day costs most shops.

Yes. Restaurants sit at the centre of hospitality, alongside cafes, pubs, clubs and accommodation. A restaurant also has its own marketing questions, such as the menu online, the booking link and the reviews people read before they choose. We cover those in more detail on our restaurant marketing page, and the same partnership plans apply.

Marketing brings people in, and sales turns the visit into a bigger bill or a return booking. In a venue, sales is the function enquiry answered the same day, the upsell to a set menu and the staff member who asks guests to book again. We plan both, so a promotion that fills the room also lifts the spend per head.

Yes, when they're tight on place and time. We aim ads at adults within driving distance and run them in the days before an event. Each ad points to one action: book a table or buy a ticket. Drinks promotions follow the ABAC code. Management starts from $2,000 + GST a month plus 10% of ad spend, and the spend itself is paid to Meta.

We work with venues across Australia. Our office is in Mildura, where consultations happen by booking, and our 10 specialists work from towns in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania. Venues further afield meet their account manager by video or phone, and the monthly plan, approvals and reports run exactly the same way.

Start at the counter and the door. We set up simple ways to join: a QR code on the table, a form on your website and a box to tick when members renew. A welcome email then gives people a reason to stay. Only people who opted in get messages, and every email has an unsubscribe link, as the Spam Act 2003 requires.

One line per promotion: what ran, who it reached, the clicks, bookings or ticket sales it brought and what it cost. We add email sign-ups, plus the calls and direction requests your Google Business Profile received. Your account manager walks you through it at the monthly meeting, by phone or in person, and agrees what changes next month.

No. Partnership plans carry no lock-in contract, so you can change the hours when the season turns or a second venue opens. One dedicated account manager runs your plan, backed by the whole team. Consultations at our Mildura office by booking, and by video or phone for venues elsewhere in Australia.
