Hospitality website design for venues that change weekly

Hospitality website design for pubs, clubs, cafes and venues that need a site staff can update, with the menu, events and bookings up front.

Venue websites

Hospitality website design that keeps up with your specials board

Rock Solid Marketing designs and builds websites for pubs, clubs, cafes and function venues across Australia, from our office in Mildura. Each site puts what guests look for on the first screen: what's on, the menu, the opening hours and how to book.

Your venue changes every week. The specials move, a band gets booked, the kitchen closes early on Sunday. If updating the website means emailing a developer, it stops getting updated, and guests stop trusting it. We build hospitality websites your own staff can edit between services, with the menu and events set up as simple lists.

Website packages start from $5,000 + GST for up to 5 pages, or 6 monthly payments of $833 + GST. Every venue starts with a free 30-minute discovery call, and if your current site only needs its menu page fixed, we'll tell you before we quote.

Common problems

What gets in the way, and how we fix it

  1. The menu online is a PDF that nobody remembers to swap.

    What we do

Your menu becomes a page of text with prices and dietary notes, edited like a document. It reads well on a phone and changes the day the board does.

  2. Function enquiries arrive as 'call me' messages with no date, numbers or budget.

    What we do

A function enquiry form asks for the date, the number of guests, the room and the budget, so your events team can quote on the first reply.

  3. The what's-on page still lists last month's trivia night.

    What we do

Events go in as a list with dates, so past nights drop off and the next one always sits at the top.

What goes on a venue site

Hospitality web design, built around what's on tonight

A venue site has a short job list: show what's on, show the menu, take the booking or the function enquiry, and point people to the door.

A what's-on page that runs itself

Gigs, trivia, footy screenings and set-menu nights are entered once with a date. The page sorts them, hides the ones that have passed and shares easily to Facebook and Instagram.

Menus as real pages

Food, drinks and kids' menus as text with prices and dietary notes, not PDFs. Search engines can read the dishes, and guests can read them on a phone at the bar.

Bookings and functions

A table booking button linked to the system you already use, plus a function enquiry form that asks the right questions. Venues selling gift vouchers online can use our E-commerce package, from $6,000 + GST.

Quick on a phone

Guests often check a venue on a phone, standing outside or sitting in the car. Pages stay light, the phone number is one tap away and the opening hours sit in every page's footer.

Your room, not stock photos

Photos of your bar, dining room and food, with your colours and type across the site. Capogreco Winery Estate's site lets the family's story and photos lead, with the cellar door a click away.

Edits without a developer

You get a simple editor and a short walkthrough, so staff can change the specials, hours and events themselves. Website care plans from $275 + GST a month cover the technical upkeep.

How it works

From the first call to launch day

Four stages, with your feedback built in before anything goes live.

  1. Discovery call

A free 30-minute call to scope your pages, features and budget against our website packages.

  2. Design and feedback

We design the site around your brand and content, with rounds of feedback along the way. Essentials includes three rounds.

  3. Build and launch

We build on a content management system you can update yourself, set up the search basics and test the site on phones and desktops.

  4. Hosting and care

Keep the site secure and up to date with Australian hosting from $400 + GST a year and a care plan from $275 + GST a month (minimum 6 months).

How it starts

Hospitality website development, from walk-through to launch

We start with a walk-through of your venue, in person in Mildura or by video elsewhere. We note the rooms, the menus, the regular nights and the questions staff answer on the phone every day. Those questions become the pages.

You approve the page list and the design before we build. We load your menus and the first month of events, show your staff the editor, and test every booking and enquiry form before the site goes live.

  • The questions staff answer on the phone
  • Menus, prices and dietary notes
  • Regular nights and one-off events
  • Booking and function enquiry flow
  • Who on staff will edit the site

Build it so the staff will keep it current.

So you’ve got a functioning website for your small business. Well done! All FAQs

Website packages start from $5,000 + GST for up to 5 pages, or 6 monthly payments of $833 + GST. Venues with several menus, function rooms and an events calendar usually fit Standard, from $6,500 + GST for 10 to 25 pages. You get a fixed quote after the discovery call, before any work starts.

It depends mostly on how quickly the menus, photos and wording arrive. We agree the dates with you at the start, and Essentials includes 3 rounds of feedback on the design. The usual hold-up is the menu itself, so we ask for it first and load it early. You approve the finished site before it goes live.

Five things on every venue site: the menu, what's on, opening hours, how to find you and how to book. Add function pages if you hire out rooms, a gift voucher shop if you sell them, and a members page for clubs. Anything beyond that should earn its place by answering a question guests ask.

Yes. We set up the menu and events as simple lists in the site's editor, then show your staff how to change them. A price change or a new gig takes a few minutes. If you'd rather we made the changes, website care plans start from $275 + GST a month, with a 6-month minimum.

Usually, yes. We link or embed the booking system you already use, so guests book in the same place your staff check. If you take function enquiries, we add a form that asks for the date, guest numbers and budget. If your system has no embed option, a clear Book Now link on every page does the job.

A template gives you pages, while a hospitality website agency builds the site around your week. We plan the menu, events and function pages around how your staff work, build to the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard and test every form before launch. If a simple template will do the job, we'll say so.

It gives you the foundation. Each menu, event and function page gets its own title and description, the site loads quickly on a phone, and we link it to your Google Business Profile. Ongoing ranking work is a separate service: our hospitality SEO plans start from $1,000 + GST a month.

Your business does. The content, photos and design you approve are yours to keep. Hosting is included for the first 12 months; after that, web hosting is from $400 + GST a year, or you can move the site to another host. Website care plans are optional, not a condition of the build.
