Accommodation website design built around the Book Now button

Rock Solid Marketing designs and builds websites for hotels, motels, B&Bs, caravan parks and holiday parks across Australia, from our office in Mildura. We built Warrawong on the Darling's site. Cabins, caravan sites and bush camping each have a page, and Book Now sits in the menu on every page.

Guests compare before they commit. They want to see the room, the view, the price and what's nearby, then book without hunting for the button. If your site makes them work for any of that, they go back to the booking site. Then you pay commission on a guest who was already on your website.

Website packages start from $5,000 + GST, or 6 monthly payments of $833 + GST. Every property starts with a free 30-minute discovery call, and if a better booking button on your current site will do, we'll tell you before we quote.

Common problems

What gets in the way, and how we fix it

  1. Guests can't tell your room types apart, so they ring to ask or give up.

    What we do

Each room, cabin or site type gets its own page with photos, beds, inclusions and a price from. A summary page lists them side by side.

  2. The Book Now button hides at the bottom of the home page.

    What we do

Book Now sits in the menu on every page and goes straight to your booking system, as it does on Warrawong on the Darling's site.

  3. Your site shows the property but none of the reasons to visit the area.

    What we do

We add pages on the drive, the parks and the events nearby, so planners have a reason to stay another night.

What goes on a property site

Hotel website design that sells the stay

A guest wants four answers before they book: what the room looks like, what it costs, what's nearby and how to book it. Every page answers them.

A page for each way to stay

Rooms, suites, cabins, powered sites and camping, each with photos, beds, inclusions and a price from. Caravan park website design works the same way: every site type gets its own page.

Your booking engine, front and centre

We link or embed the booking system you already use, so rates and availability stay in one place. Out of the Ordinary Outback's booking buttons go straight to each property's own system.

Photos of the real room

Wide shots, the bathroom, the view from the veranda and the pool at sunset. Guests book what they can see, so we plan the photo list with you, and shoots are priced to the job.

Guides to the area

Pages on the drive, the parks, the events and the best season to visit. Out of the Ordinary Outback's site also offers a downloadable visitor guide for travellers heading to far west NSW.

Built for phones on the road

Travellers often book from the car or a roadhouse. Pages load quickly, the phone number and directions are one tap away, and Book Now stays within reach on a small screen.

Specials you can edit

Change seasonal notes, specials and packages yourself in a simple editor. Care plans for updates, backups and security start from $275 + GST a month (6-month minimum).

How it works

From the first call to launch day

Four stages, with your feedback built in before anything goes live.

  1. Discovery call

A free 30-minute call to scope your pages, features and budget against our website packages.

  2. Design and feedback

We design the site around your brand and content, with rounds of feedback along the way. Essentials includes three rounds.

  3. Build and launch

We build on a content management system you can update yourself, set up the search basics and test the site on phones and desktops.

  4. Hosting and care

Keep the site secure and up to date with Australian hosting from $400 + GST a year and a care plan from $275 + GST a month (minimum 6 months).

How it starts

Accommodation website development, room by room

We start with your room list and your booking engine. We list every room, cabin or site type with its photos, beds and inclusions. We also note how your booking system names each one, so the website and the booking screens match.

Then we plan the pages: one for each way to stay, one for the area, and the practical ones guests ask about (check-in, pets, parking, access). You approve the page list and design before we build, and we test every booking button before launch.

  • Every room, cabin and site type
  • Photos, beds and inclusions for each
  • How your booking engine names them
  • Area guides and events nearby
  • Check-in, pets, parking and access details

Are You Making These Website Mistakes?

Unless you’re a web design professional, your website probably isn’t 100% technically “perfect”. That’s totally normal, because let’s be honest: you’ve probably got a million other things to focus on. So we’re going to make it easy for you by sharing a few mistakes that many (if not most) people are making with their websites.

Tips On Website Copywriting

You can throw all the money you want at paid advertising and web design services, but remember this golden rule: content is king. If you want to continuously drive traffic to your website, gain new visitors, and get other sites to link to yours (hello, SEO juice), you need to host quality content on your

All FAQs

Our smallest package, Essentials, is $5,000 + GST for up to 5 pages (or 6 monthly payments of $833 + GST). Properties with several room types usually need Standard, from $6,500 + GST for 10 to 25 pages. Connecting a booking engine adds a few hours at $175 + GST an hour, so our estimate in that case is about $7,000 to $8,000 + GST.

Start with the guest's questions, not the logo. List every room type, then give each one a page with photos, beds, inclusions and a price from. Put Book Now in the menu on every page and add a page about the area. Then test the whole path to payment on a phone before launch.

Clarity beats decoration. A strong hotel site shows the room, the price from and the booking button within a scroll. It loads quickly on a phone and answers practical questions such as parking and check-in. Real photos of your own rooms do more for bookings than any design trend.

Yes. Motel website design is usually simpler than a hotel's, with fewer room types, but guests want the same answers fast. Many motels fit our Essentials package, from $5,000 + GST for up to 5 pages, with Book Now on every page and directions one tap away.

Yes. Holiday park website design needs a page for each way to stay: cabins, powered and unpowered sites, and camping. We built Warrawong on the Darling's site this way, with an accommodation page that lists every option together so guests can compare them before they book.

In most cases, yes. We link or embed the booking system you already use, so availability and rates stay in one place. If your provider offers an embedded widget, guests can book without leaving your site. If not, a clear Book Now link on every page does the job.

You can, or we can. Seasonal notes and specials are easy to edit yourself. For updates, backups and security, website care plans start from $275 + GST a month (Basic). Essentials is $395 and Premium is $549 + GST a month, each with a 6-month minimum.

Yes, mostly in the booking path. A normal site aims for an enquiry, while hotel web design aims for a confirmed booking, so every page leads to rates and availability. It also needs more photos, a page for each room type and clear details on check-in, parking and pets.
