Franchise website design for head office and every location

Franchise website design that keeps head office in control of the brand while every franchisee gets a location page they can keep current.

Franchise websites

One website, many franchisees, one set of rules

Rock Solid Marketing does franchise website design for Australian franchise systems and multi-site brands. Head office needs one brand, one domain and control of the logins. Each franchisee needs a page that shows their location, their team and their local news, without being able to break the design.

We build both. The brand pages and templates stay with head office, and every location gets its own page with a store locator, booking or enquiry routing to the right franchisee, and editing rights that stop at the edges you set. This page is part of our franchise marketing work.

Franchise websites start from $6,500 + GST on our Standard package. Your first step is a free 30-minute discovery call.

Common problems

What gets in the way, and how we fix it

  1. Every franchisee built their own website and none of them look like the brand.

    What we do

We bring them onto one site with one design, so customers get the same experience in every town and head office owns the domain.

  2. Head office has to make every small change for every location.

    What we do

Franchisees get access to their own location page, news and photos within limits you set, so updates don't wait on head office.

  3. Enquiries from the website land in one inbox and get forwarded by hand.

    What we do

Each location's forms and bookings route straight to that franchisee, with a copy to head office if you want one.

What we build

Franchise website development with control built in

The structure keeps the brand consistent and the local pages useful, so the site works for customers, franchisees and head office.

Store locator

Customers find their nearest location by town or postcode, with hours, phone and directions for each one, kept in step with each Google Business Profile.

A page for every location

Each franchisee gets a location page with real local detail: their team, services, photos and news. No copied pages with only the suburb swapped.

Roles and permissions

Head office edits everything; franchisees edit only their own page within set fields. We can set this up in WordPress or a custom CMS built around your content.

Enquiries to the right person

Forms and bookings route to the right franchisee automatically, with tracking so head office can see enquiries by location.

Brand templates

Approved layouts for offers, news and local events, so franchisees can add content that still looks like the brand.

Accessible everywhere

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, so every location's page works for customers using screen readers, keyboards or large text.

How it works

From the first call to launch day

Four stages, with your feedback built in before anything goes live.

  1. Discovery call

A free 30-minute call to scope your pages, features and budget against our website packages.

  2. Design and feedback

We design the site around your brand and content, with rounds of feedback along the way. Essentials includes three rounds.

  3. Build and launch

We build on a content management system you can update yourself, set up the search basics and test the site on phones and desktops.

  4. Hosting and care

Keep the site secure and up to date with Australian hosting from $400 + GST a year and a care plan from $275 + GST a month (minimum 6 months).

How it starts

Multi-location website design for franchises starts with the rules

Before any design, we agree the rules: what head office controls, what each franchisee can change, who owns the domain and accounts, and where enquiries go. Your franchise agreement and brand standards usually answer most of it.

Then we design the brand pages and one location template, test it with two or three franchisees, and roll it out to the network. Each location gets a short guide so updates stay on brand.

  • Head office and franchisee roles agreed
  • Domain, accounts and logins owned by head office
  • One location template tested with franchisees
  • Enquiry routing by location
  • A short guide for every franchisee

Agree the rules first, then design.

All FAQs

Franchise websites start from $6,500 + GST on our Standard package, which suits 10 to 25 pages. Larger networks usually fit Advanced, from $12,000 + GST for 25 to 50 pages with CRM and email integration. If your network is small enough for a simpler site, we'll tell you before we quote.

Agree the rules first: who controls what, who owns the domain and where enquiries go. Then design the brand pages and one location template, test it with a few franchisees, and roll it out. Add a store locator, route enquiries by location and train everyone who'll edit it.

Usually not. Separate sites split your search strength, look inconsistent and are harder to keep secure. One site with a strong page for each location gives customers the same experience everywhere and lets head office manage the brand. Separate sites can make sense only for very different brands under one group.

It depends on how much control you need. WordPress works well for most networks with role-based editing. A custom CMS suits networks with strict permissions or many locations. When people compare franchise website development companies in Australia, the platform matters less than how roles and location pages are set up.

The franchise websites that work best give customers the nearest location fast, show real local detail on each page and keep the brand consistent. Behind the scenes, they route enquiries to the right franchisee and give head office reporting by location. They're also easy to grow: adding a new franchisee means filling in one template, not designing a new page.

Yes, within limits. Each franchisee can update their own location page, photos, team and news, while the design, brand pages and global offers stay locked to head office. That keeps local pages fresh without risking the brand. Changes can go live straight away or wait for head office approval, depending on how much control you want.

We don't claim a list of franchise clients. We've built websites for multi-site organisations, such as Out of the Ordinary Outback's group of properties, and custom builds with editing roles. We'll be upfront about that and design around your franchise agreement and brand standards. You'll see the location template working before it rolls out across the network.
