Spa marketing for bookings and gift vouchers

Spa marketing for day spas and wellness retreats: fuller quiet months, more gift vouchers before Mother's Day and Christmas, and guests who return.

Partnership plans from $4,500 + GST a month

Spa marketing

Sell the experience, not the treatment list

Rock Solid Marketing provides spa marketing for day spas, wellness retreats and spas in hotels and resorts across Australia. A spa sells something people book for themselves or buy for someone they love. They want to see the space, feel the calm and know exactly what's included before they pay.

So we market the experience: photos of your rooms, packages people can understand at a glance, gift vouchers that are easy to buy online, and email to past guests before each peak season. Quiet months get their own offers, so the diary doesn't sag between Christmas and Mother's Day.

Partnership plans start from $4,500 + GST a month. The first step is a free 30-minute discovery call.

Common problems

What gets in the way, and how we fix it

  1. Gift vouchers can only be bought by phone or in person.

    What we do

We set up online gift vouchers with a clear choice of packages and amounts, ready to send or print, so last-minute gift buyers can order at 10pm.

  2. Your treatment list reads like a price sheet.

    What we do

We turn it into packages with names, photos and what's included, so guests choose an experience rather than compare minutes and prices.

  3. Mother's Day is booked out and February is empty.

    What we do

We plan quiet-month offers for past guests who opted in, and promote weekday packages to locals and visitors.

What we do for spas

Spa marketing strategies for every season

Each channel helps a guest picture the visit, choose a package and book, or buy a voucher for someone else.

A website that sells the visit

Packages with photos, what's included and prices, online booking and gift vouchers, all easy to use on a phone in a few taps.

Found for 'day spa near me'

Your Google Business Profile with photos of the rooms, services, hours and reviews, so locals and visitors can book from the map.

Spa email marketing

Seasonal emails to past guests who opted in: new packages, voucher reminders before peak days and quiet-month offers.

Instagram that shows the space

Calm, consistent photos and short videos of your rooms, products and team, so followers can picture themselves there.

Campaigns for peak days

Mother's Day, Christmas and Valentine's Day planned weeks ahead with voucher promotions, posts and ads, so vouchers sell before the rush.

Reviews after every visit

A gentle review request after each visit and replies to every review. No incentivised or filtered reviews, as the ACCC requires.

Who it’s for

Is it the right fit?

Who it’s for

  • Day spas and wellness centres
  • Spas in hotels, resorts and retreats
  • Massage and wellness studios
  • Spas adding packages or gift vouchers

Not a fit

  • You want ads claiming health cures or medical outcomes
  • You need a promised number of bookings
  • You can't share photos of your space

How it starts

Your spa marketing plan starts with the calendar

We start with your year: the peak days, the quiet months, the packages that sell and the guests who come back. That shows where marketing can lift bookings and where vouchers do most of the work.

Then we build a plan that runs ahead of each season: vouchers promoted early, quiet months filled with offers for past guests, and steady content between. If you offer cosmetic or medical treatments, we follow the stricter rules that apply to them.

  • Peak days and quiet months mapped
  • Best-selling packages identified
  • Online vouchers and booking checked
  • Past guest list and consent reviewed
  • A seasonal campaign calendar

Promote the season before it arrives.

Mildura CCTV & Data

Rock Solid Marketing created the brand and WordPress website for Mildura CCTV & Data, a CCTV, security and data cabling installer in Irymple VIC, along with customer guides, SEO and Facebook posts.

We approached Rock Solid Marketing to build our online store for our retail division and to look after our existing website. The professionalism of Sean and his team from day one was incredible, they took the time to sit down with us to discuss our exact requirements and they offered suggestions for the build which would improve the overall running of the store.

The finished result of our online store is nothing short of fantastic- it integrates with our point of sale software, it is very easy to navigate, and presents and operates as a professionally made web store should. Since completion and hand over, the back up support we receive from Rock Solid Marketing is remarkable- nothing is too much trouble and we can contact the team at any time with any questions we may have. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sean, Janine and the team from Rock Solid Marketing for building or revamping a website, creating an online store to suit your business or with online marketing.

How To Use Social Media To Build Trust & Drive Sales For Your Business

In 2025, social media remains one of the most powerful tools small business owners can use to build their brand, connect with customers, and drive sales. But let’s be honest: between running your business, managing day-to-day tasks, and keeping customers happy, finding the time and energy to stay consistent on social media can feel overwhelming.

All FAQs

Our work for spas runs inside partnership plans from $4,500 + GST a month. That covers content, your Google profile, email, ads management and reporting. If you only need social posts for now, our social media plans start from $1,500 + GST a month, and we'll tell you before we quote if that fits better.

Sell the experience and make gifting easy. Show the rooms, name your packages, put gift vouchers online and promote them weeks before Mother's Day and Christmas. Email past guests with seasonal offers, and keep your Google profile and reviews current for people searching nearby.

Give past guests a reason to come back: a seasonal package, a weekday offer or a voucher top-up. Promote midweek treatments to locals, shift workers and retirees, and partner with nearby accommodation for visitor packages. Quiet months are also the time to refresh photos and content.

Start with the free basics. That means a complete Google Business Profile, reviews after every visit, consistent Instagram posts and an email list of past guests who opted in. Online gift vouchers often pay for themselves quickly, so set those up before spending on ads. Day spa marketing on a small budget is mostly about consistency.

Market to guests already staying and to locals. Put spa packages in booking confirmations and in-room information, partner with the accommodation on stay-and-spa packages, and keep a separate Google profile and page for the spa so locals can find and book it too. Hotel guests often book on the day, so make the spa easy to book from a phone.

Carefully, because medical spa marketing is regulated. Treatments by registered health practitioners follow AHPRA's advertising guidelines, including no testimonials about clinical outcomes, and prescription-only medicines can't be advertised to the public. We focus on your team, consultations and non-prescription treatments, and you stay responsible for compliance.

The term 'med spa' is common overseas. In Australia it's clearer to describe what you offer: a cosmetic clinic, a skin clinic or a day spa. Don't imply medical services unless registered practitioners provide them. When marketing a medical spa, practitioner registration details come from you, and claims follow AHPRA and TGA rules. If you're looking for a med spa marketing agency, check that it knows those rules before it writes a word.

We don't claim a list of spa clients. Our experience is in regional tourism and accommodation, such as Alivio Tourist Park, Warrawong on the Darling and Out of the Ordinary Outback. We'll be upfront about that, and plan around your packages, seasons and guests. You approve every package description and offer before it goes out.
