School marketing consultants for the whole enrolment year

School marketing consultants for Australian schools: plan the enrolment year, fill your open days and turn family enquiries into applications.

Partnership plans from $4,500 + GST a month

Schools

School marketing consultants who plan around enrolments

Rock Solid Marketing plans and runs marketing for schools across Australia, from our office in Mildura. Families often choose a school a year or two before the first day, especially for Prep and Year 7. They ask friends, scroll your Facebook page, read the prospectus and book a tour.

Each step is a chance to lose them. A tour request that waits three days for a reply loses them. So does an open day nobody heard about, or a website that hides fees and transport details. Your marketing has to run as one plan across the whole enrolment year.

Partnership plans start from $4,500 + GST a month. The first step is a free 30-minute discovery call.

Common problems

What gets in the way, and how we fix it

  1. Our open day turnout depends on who happened to see the flyer.

    What we do

We promote each open day for weeks beforehand on social media, in local press, by email to past enquirers and through current families.

  2. Families enquire, then we lose track of them.

    What we do

We set up an enquiry pathway: a quick reply, a tour booking, follow-up emails and reminders before application dates, all tracked in one place.

  3. Our prospectus and website tell different stories.

    What we do

One brand guide and one set of key messages, used in the prospectus, website, signage and social posts, so families hear the same school everywhere.

What's in the plan

Digital marketing for schools, plus the open day

Online and offline work planned around your enrolment calendar.

A plan built around the school year

Enrolment periods, open days, term breaks and application deadlines set the timing, so every campaign lands when families are deciding.

A website families can use

Fees, transport, uniforms, before and after school care and how to enrol, easy to find on a phone. See our school website design page for builds.

Social media parents follow

Real school life, shared with consent: excursions, sport, performances and classrooms. Current families share it, and prospective families see it.

Prospectus and print

A prospectus, enrolment pack and signage designed to match your brand and answer the questions families bring to a tour.

Local media and community

New buildings, programs and achievements pitched to local press, so your community hears your news from you.

Enquiries traced to the source

A HubSpot dashboard shows which channels bring enquiries, tours and applications, so next year's budget goes where families actually came from.

  • Anyone wanting student photos used without consent

Enrolment marketing

Marketing strategies to increase school enrolment

Most enrolment growth comes from a handful of steps done well. Answer enquiries the same day. Make tours easy to book and good to attend. Promote open days for weeks, not days. Follow up every family who visits until the application deadline. Ask current families to share.

As school marketing consultants, we plan those steps into one calendar, produce the content and report what moved enrolments. Student photos and stories are only used with consent under your school's policy, and any results you publish are the ones your school can verify.

  • Same-day replies to enquiries
  • Tours and open days promoted for weeks
  • Follow-up until application deadlines
  • Student images only with consent
  • Results only as your school verifies them

One plan, from first enquiry to first day.

Our partnership plans start from $4,500 + GST a month for 28 hours of strategy, content, social media, search and reporting. Standard is $5,500 + GST a month and Advanced is $7,500 + GST a month. Ad spend and printing are extra. If your school only needs a prospectus or a website refresh, we'll tell you before we quote.

Market a school by making the enrolment journey easy and visible. That means a clear website, social media showing real school life, well-promoted open days and quick replies to every enquiry. Current families are your best marketers, so give them things worth sharing. Measure enquiries and applications, not just likes.

Map every step from first enquiry to signed enrolment, then fix the slowest ones. Most schools lose families between the enquiry and the tour, or between the tour and the application. Same-day replies, easy tour booking and follow-up emails before deadlines make the biggest difference.

Start with your enrolment targets by year level, then work back through the calendar: when families research, when open days run and when applications close. Choose the channels your families use, set a budget for each and decide how you'll measure enquiries, tours and applications.

Keep it to one page: targets, key messages, a calendar of open days and deadlines, and three or four channels you can sustain. Assign each task an owner. A small team does better running a few channels well than many badly, and outside help can cover the production.

Show, don't sell. Share real moments from classrooms, sport and performances, let teachers and students speak in their own words with consent, and answer the practical questions parents ask. Families trust what they can see for themselves more than slogans. A short video of a real lesson often does more than a polished ad.

Start at least a year before the intake you're trying to fill, and earlier for Prep and Year 7, when many families decide. Keep a lighter presence all year, with bursts before open days and application deadlines. Late starts usually mean families have already chosen.

Look for a schools marketing agency that understands enrolment cycles, consent for student images and your sector's community. Ask how it measures enquiries and applications. Digital marketing for schools should support your tours and open days, because that's where most families decide. A good digital marketing agency for schools, or school marketing consultants, will plan around that.
