Web Design

Website design for gyms that turns visitors into members

Website design for gyms and fitness studios that answers three questions fast: what's on, what it costs and how to start a trial or join.

Part of Gym Marketing

Gym websites

Timetable, price, how to start. In that order.

Rock Solid Marketing provides website design for gyms, fitness studios and boxes across Australia, especially in regional towns. People checking out a gym want three answers on their phone: what's on, what it costs and how to start. If any of those takes more than a few taps, they try the gym down the road.

So we build your gym website around those answers. A timetable that's easy to read, membership options with clear prices, a page for each class and program, and Join or Book a Trial buttons linked to the membership software you already use. This page is part of our gym work.

Gym websites start from $5,000 + GST on our Essentials package. Your first step is a free 30-minute discovery call.

Common problems

What gets in the way, and how we fix it

  1. Your timetable is a PDF that's unreadable on a phone.

    What we do

We build a timetable that's easy to read and filter on a phone, or embed the live one from your booking software.

  2. People have to call or visit to find out what membership costs.

    What we do

We show membership options and starting prices clearly, with any joining fee or minimum term stated up front.

  3. Your website says 6am to 9pm, but members have 24/7 access.

    What we do

We show staffed hours and access hours separately on the site and keep them matched to your Google profile.

What we build

Gym website design that answers the big questions

Each part of your gym fitness website takes someone from curious to booked in for a trial.

A timetable people can read

Classes by day and type, easy to filter on a phone, or your live timetable embedded from the booking software you already use.

A page for every class and program

Strength, pilates, boxing, HIIT and kids classes each get a page with times, coaches, who it suits and what to bring.

Join and trial buttons

Join Now and Book a Trial buttons on every page, linked to your membership software, so nobody waits for a call back.

Your gym, not stock photos

Real photos and short videos of your floor, classes and coaches, so people can picture themselves training there.

Fast on a phone

Most visits happen on a phone, so pages load quickly and buttons are easy to tap between sets.

Ready for local search

Hours, address and classes match your Google Business Profile, with SEO basics in place for 'gym near me'.

How it works

From the first call to launch day

Four stages, with your feedback built in before anything goes live.

  1. Discovery call

A free 30-minute call to scope your pages, features and budget against our website packages.

  2. Design and feedback

We design the site around your brand and content, with rounds of feedback along the way. Essentials includes three rounds.

  3. Build and launch

We build on a content management system you can update yourself, set up the search basics and test the site on phones and desktops.

  4. Hosting and care

Keep the site secure and up to date with Australian hosting from $400 + GST a year and a care plan from $275 + GST a month (minimum 6 months).

How it starts

Website design for gyms starts with your members

We start with who joins your gym and why: the classes that fill, the programs that keep members longest and the questions new people ask at the front desk. That decides what goes on the home page and what gets its own page.

Then we check how joins and bookings work today and link the site to your membership software, so there's one simple path from first visit to first session. You see the design on a phone before anything is built.

  • Best classes and programs identified
  • Membership options and prices listed
  • Membership software link or embed checked
  • Staffed and access hours confirmed
  • Photos and video of your gym planned

Build around the questions new members ask.

All FAQs

Gym websites start from $5,000 + GST on our Essentials package, which suits up to 10 pages. Gyms with many classes, programs or locations usually fit Standard from $6,500 + GST. Membership software fees are paid to your provider. If a simple site will do, we'll tell you before we quote.

Start with the three answers people want: your timetable, your prices and how to start. Plan a page for each class and program, gather real photos of your gym and coaches, and link Join and trial buttons to your membership software. Then make sure it's fast on a phone and matches your Google profile.

WordPress works well for most gyms. You'll need hosting, a theme built for speed, pages for classes and memberships, and a plugin or embed for your timetable and bookings. Keep plugins to a minimum so the site stays fast and secure. If you'd rather not build it yourself, we can.

Start with a readable timetable, membership prices and a page for each class and program. Add coach profiles, staffed and access hours, location and parking, and clear Join and trial buttons. Include reviews and real photos. Lists of best gym websites and best gym website design examples point the same way: starting a trial should feel easy, not intimidating.

Yes, through the membership or booking software you already use. We link Join and Book buttons to it, or embed your live timetable where the software allows. We don't build custom membership systems, because good gym platforms already exist. Your members keep the app and logins they already know.

A little. A fitness gym website usually leads with memberships, access hours and the floor, while a studio leads with classes and coaches. Both need a clear timetable and an easy way to start. We shape the home page around what your members actually come for.

We don't claim a list of gym clients. We've built websites for regional and service businesses, such as Out of the Ordinary Outback and Princes Court. We'll be upfront about that, and design around your classes, your memberships and your software. You'll see the design on a phone before anything is built.
