UX design built into every website

UX design agency work built into every website we make: page plans, wireframes and phone testing, so your visitors find what they came for.

UX and UI design

UX design agency work, inside every website we build

Rock Solid Marketing handles UX design agency work inside every website we build for Australian businesses, from our office in Mildura. UX (user experience) design is how a site works for the person using it: what they see first, where they tap and how quickly they reach you.

You can feel it when it’s missing. The phone number hides in the footer, the services menu has 14 items, and the contact form wants a postcode before it will send. Visitors don’t complain. They just go back to Google.

So the page plan, wireframes and phone testing are part of every package, from $5,000 + GST. We don’t sell UX research or app design on its own: if that’s what you need, a specialist studio will suit you better, and we’ll say so.

UX and UI, explained

UI and UX design services in every build

UX decides how your site works and UI decides how it looks. Both are planned together, so the design works with your content instead of against it.

A page plan before design

Your customers ask questions in a certain order. The page plan follows it: which pages you need, what each one answers and where it sends your visitors next.

Wireframes you can react to

Before colours and photos, you see the key pages as simple wireframes. Moving a button or cutting a section costs you far less at this stage than after the site is built.

The path from Google to you

Most visitors land on an inner page from a search, not your home page. Each service page is designed so someone arriving cold sees what you do, where you work and how to get in touch.

Designed for thumbs

Your phone number dials when tapped, buttons fit a thumb, and forms ask only what you need. Every key page is tested on phones as well as desktops before your site goes live.

UI that matches your brand

UI design is the visible layer: type, colours, buttons and spacing. Your brand is applied the same way on every page, so the site feels like one business and your buttons look like buttons everywhere.

Fresh eyes on an existing site

Already have a website? You get a review of it as your customers see it, on a phone and a desktop, with a list of what slows them down in order of impact. Reviews are $175 + GST an hour, quoted first.

How it works

Where UX fits in your website build

The structure is agreed before the look, so changes happen while they’re still cheap.

  1. Discovery call

A free 30-minute call about your customers, what they need to find and what you want them to do: call, book, buy or enquire.

  2. Page plan and wireframes

We map the pages and sketch the key ones as wireframes. You approve the structure before any visual design starts.

  3. Visual design and build

We apply your brand to the approved wireframes, build the site and test every key page on phones and desktops.

  4. Feedback and launch

You review in rounds (3 on Essentials), we fix whatever trips people up, then we launch with follow-up support.

From our client work

How UX design shows up in real projects

For the Illawarra Shoalhaven Joint Organisation, the redesign was about finding things. We made the site more user-friendly and informative, with its projects, initiatives and reports easier to reach on mobile and desktop.

For Aline Trading, the challenge was a large product range, so we built a catalogue visitors filter by category, price and specification. For Capogreco Winery Estate, it was order: the family’s story leads, and the shop and enquiry buttons sit where a ready buyer looks for them.

  • ISJO: projects and reports easier to reach
  • Aline Trading: filters by category, price and specification
  • Capogreco: story first, shop close at hand
  • Overland Adventures: clearer tour pages and navigation

Good UX mostly goes unnoticed: people just find what they came for.

All FAQs

UX design is included in every website package we build, from $5,000 + GST for Essentials. There’s no separate UX fee on a new site: the page plan, wireframes and phone testing are part of the build. For an existing website, a UX review is charged at $175 + GST an hour, and you get the hours quoted before work starts.

Because a website that looks good but is hard to use still loses enquiries. UX design decides what each page answers and where it sends people, and UI design makes buttons, text and forms clear. Choosing UI/UX design services as part of the build costs less than fixing a confusing site after launch, when pages and content are already in place.

UX (user experience) design is how the site works; UI (user interface) design is how it looks. UX covers the page plan, the order of content and the path to an enquiry. UI covers type, colours, buttons and spacing. Our website builds include both as a UX UI design service, so your plan and your look are decided together.

No. UX and UI design come as part of the websites we build, plus UX reviews of existing sites. UX research, usability studies and app design aren’t sold on their own. If you need UX for a mobile app or a large software product, a specialist studio suits you better. You’ll hear that from us on the first call.

A UX review is a walk through your site as a customer would take it, ending in a prioritised list of fixes. It covers a phone and a desktop, and checks how quickly someone finds what you do, where you work and how to contact you, plus your forms, buttons and page order. It’s charged at $175 + GST an hour, quoted up front.

Ask each one to show a website they’ve improved and explain what changed for its visitors. Good UX design companies talk about your customers and their tasks before they mention colours. Also ask whether UX is part of the build or a separate fee. With us, it’s included in every website package, from $5,000 + GST.

Yes, and it doesn’t need a separate company or budget. A 5-page site still needs a clear page plan, a phone number that dials when tapped and a short enquiry form, and our Essentials package includes all three. A dedicated UI UX design services company makes more sense for software, apps or very large sites with many user types.

Often, yes. Many problems can be fixed in place: a buried phone number, a long form, a menu with too many items. A review finds them, and your fixes are charged at $175 + GST an hour, or through upfront hours bought in blocks of 3 or 5. If the structure itself is the problem, you’ll get a plain explanation of why a redesign makes more sense.
