We were so pleased to flex our creative muscles with a website build for this fantastic new Melbourne-based construction business!
With a design based on the mushrooming huts you find in Denmark, Nordic Huts are a tiny home / workspace built from sustainably farmed timber and with a host of Australian climate-friendly features as standard.
To complement the clean, monochrome design of the hut, as well as the beautiful Scandinavian inspired aesthetic, they wanted it to look uncluttered and stylish, with amazing photos as the hero of each page.
The Nordic Huts team worked with our Melbourne web designer to mock up a proof, and our copywriter to ensure each page used appropriate keywords, was easy to read and that technical specs were understandable (ie. not in builder speak!).
Used as a workspace, garden shed, granny flat, tiny home, creative space, artistic studio, offsite office, student or teenage accommodation, B&B accommodation, kids retreat, a she or he shed, these Nordic Huts are completely practical as well as beautiful to look at.
All these concepts – and more – were worked into the website to help this start up get visibility in a highly competitive online marketplace which includes some of Australia’s biggest builders and hardware suppliers.
To give them an ongoing competitive edge we also ensured they had the capacity to add pages to their site, including more galleries of the beautiful professional photos and a latest news / blog page.
We’re pleased to say that within two months of launch, this website was coming up at the top of search engine results for a number of the requested keywords, and that they are now working to improve keyword rankings in other areas too.
