Over the past several months, we’ve had the pleasure of working with In2 Fire (formerly KlineFire Services): a local business supplying fire equipment services in Melbourne (including installation, maintenance, and hire).

In2 Fire came to us wanting their first-ever website, which our web designer built last spring. Since then, we’ve continued to work closely with them on building up the content of their site, optimising it to show up higher in Google search results, and making small but effective tweaks to the structure of their website.

Continuing to invest in their website has enabled In2 Fire to generate more website traffic and convert more leads. Here are some of the things we’ve done to help them out thusfar:

Include More Compelling Images

Using a combination of stock images and images taken by In2 Fire while on the job, we have added images to most of the pages included in the site.

On the homepage, we sourced high quality images to be included in the banner. On the service pages, we added smaller images relevant to the service advertised (e.g. fire extinguishes on the portable fire equipment page). Adding these images has made their website more palatable and appealing to visitors.

What’s more, we made sure to optimise all images for their chosen keywords. As a result of our SEO services, In2 Fire have started to see a gradual increase in their keyword visibility.

Add More Content For Services

When we first built the In2 Fire site, we only included a sentence or two about each service and consolidated them all onto one page.

For example: There originally was a Portable Fire Equipment mentioning fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire hydrants, and fire blankets. But recently, we decided to build separate pages for each of these services. Our copywriter wrote fresh new content on each service, while our SEO specialist created these new web pages and optimised them for the chosen keywords.

Bulking up the site content provides more information for prospective customers and hopefully entices them to engage the company in their services, with the added bonus of SEO benefits.

Post Blog Articles Regularly

One of the very best things you can do for SEO is continually publish relevant, useful content to your website. Google likes to reward sites that do this with higher keyword rankings.

So early on, we suggested the idea to In2 Fire and they were keen to have us update their blog twice per month. So far, we’ve been publishing a variety of different posts including features on specific services offered, a behind-the-scenes look at the team, and administrative announcements.
