Why Small Businesses Need a Website
Why small businesses need a website, why some sites fail, and what you need to know about domains, costs, Google Ads, privacy policies and Instagram.
Horsham
Web design in Horsham for Wimmera farm suppliers, services and visitor businesses that need a site customers can use from the paddock or the car.
Web design Horsham
Rock Solid Marketing designs and builds websites for Horsham and Wimmera businesses from our office in Mildura. We don't have a Horsham office, so planning, design reviews and sign-off happen by video call, phone and email.
A grain grower looking for a header part, a contractor checking your hours before harvest, a family booking a cabin near the Grampians: each wants an answer fast, usually on a phone. Horsham website design should put that answer one tap away.
Packages start from $5,000 + GST, or 6 payments of $833 + GST. A free 30-minute discovery call comes first.

What we build
The parts below are the ones Wimmera customers use most, so they get built first and built properly.
Machinery, parts and products listed with photos, specs and an enquiry button. Standard packages load up to 25 products; Advanced handles up to 50.
Forms that ask for machine model, serial number or paddock location, so your team can quote without three phone calls back and forth.
Harvest hours, sowing-season specials and public holiday closures are easy to update, so customers don't drive in to a locked gate.
Accommodation, tours and cafes on the way to Halls Gap get booking calendars and clear directions for people arriving from Melbourne or Adelaide.
Built to WCAG 2.2 AA with large tap targets and readable text, so the site works for older customers and anyone outside in bright light.
WordPress or WooCommerce, so you can change stock, prices and notices yourself. Standard and above come with a WordPress user manual.

Questions first, then pages, then a site you test on your own phone.
A free 30-minute call about your business, the questions customers ask and what your current site can't do.
You approve a page plan built from those questions, then the design, before any building starts.
Our developer builds the site, loads your stock or services, sets up forms and tests it on phones.
The site goes live with hosting and SSL, and we're on hand for questions after launch.
How it starts
We begin with what your customers ask you most, then turn those questions into pages and forms. A machinery dealer's site is built around stock and parts. A services business gets service pages and a quote form. You approve a page plan, then the design.
Our developer then builds it, and you try it on your own phone. If the site you have only needs updated stock and photos, we'll say so before we quote.
One tap from question to answer.

Package inclusions

All FAQsEssentials is $5,000 + GST for up to 5 pages, or 6 payments of $833 + GST. A Standard site with 10 to 25 pages and up to 25 products is $6,500 + GST, and online stores start from $6,000 + GST. You get a fixed quote after the discovery call.
No. We're at 3/71 Deakin Ave in Mildura and build Horsham websites by video call, phone and email. You see each stage on screen before approving it. If you'd like a face-to-face meeting, travel can be quoted. The site itself is built and tested the same way either way.
Yes. Products and machinery can be listed with photos, specs and an enquiry button, or sold online if that suits. Standard loads up to 25 products and Advanced up to 50. Larger catalogues are quoted for extra loading time at $175 + GST an hour.
Less so if the site is set up properly. We include your full Victorian address, postcode and Australian phone number, and connect it to your Google Business Profile. Our SEO team can do more if you need it, but a well-built site gives Google clear signals from day one.
Look for a designer who asks what your customers need before showing you designs. They should write down the price and inclusions and give you ownership of the site and domain. Check that it's tested on phones. We do all of that and build to WCAG 2.2 AA.
That depends on the package and how quickly your content arrives. Product photos and stock details are usually the slowest part. We agree the timeline at the start. If you want the site live before harvest or a field day, tell us early and we'll plan backwards from that date.
Yes. Our website care plans start from $275 + GST a month, with a 6-month minimum, and cover updates, backups and security. Or you can update the site yourself, since it runs on WordPress. Either way, the site and its logins stay in your name.
